Krishna Prasad Sanjel, originally from Ward No. 8, Dalchoki Village Development Committee, Lalitpur District, currently resides in Ward No. 5, Lagankhel, Lalitpur Metropolitan City. He is the founding president of the Continuous Blood Donation Center Nepal, an organization established with the sole purpose of addressing blood donation and blood-related initiatives in Nepal. At a time when no organization other than the Nepal Red Cross Society focused solely on blood donation, Mr. Sanjel took the pioneering step of founding an institution dedicated to this noble cause.

For the past 21 years, he has served as the president of the District Association of Vegetable and Fruit Producers of Lalitpur. Additionally, he holds the position of Senior Vice President of the Federation of Fruits and Vegetable Entrepreneurs Nepal, after previously serving as its founding treasurer.

Mr. Sanjel’s leadership roles extend further into various community and organizational initiatives. He is the chairman of the Agricultural Market Operation Committee, Chapagaun, and an advisor to the Clean Vegetables and Fruits Cooperative Society Ltd.. Furthermore, he is a member of the Lalitpur District Executive Committee of the Nepal Human Rights Organization and a former member of the Executive Committee of the Lalitpur Chamber of Commerce and Industry. In 1991, he was elected chairman of Ward No. 8 of the Dalchoki Village Development Committee, a position through which he gained significant governance experience.

With a lifelong commitment to social service, Mr. Sanjel has pledged to remain actively involved in the Continuous Blood Donation Center Nepal. His tireless efforts aim to mitigate blood shortages and ensure accessible blood supply for those in need, reflecting his unwavering dedication to humanitarian causes.
