Bhumi Nandan Karmacharya was born on Magh 26, 2034 B.S. in Saugal, Ward No.6, Lalitpur Metropolitan City. He is the Founding Treasurer of the Continuous Blood Donation Center-Nepal (CBDC-Nepal). Over the years, he has held various leadership roles, including Coordinator of Citizen Ward Forum (Ward No. 6, 2070), Advisor of the Lalitpur Karmacharya Society, Member of Saugal Community Improvement Committee, Chairperson of Sukannani, Vice Chairperson of Thaina Saugal Consumer Committee, and Vice Chairperson of the Nekhu Jatra (Mataya) Operating Committee, Area 10 Saugal. Additionally, he serves as Treasurer of the CBDC-Nepal Yala Chapter.
Mr. Karmacharya’s contributions extend to the business sector as well. He is the General Secretary of the Lalitpur Chamber of Commerce and Industry (since 2080) and previously served as its Treasurer (2077–2080) and Executive Member (2070–2077). He has been an Executive Member and Coordinator of the Silver Jubilee Coin Release Committee and Advisor to the Social Committee of the Nepal Chamber of Commerce, Bagmati Province. Furthermore, he is a Lifetime Member and Vice President of the Nepal Numismatic Society (since 2080), Secretary of the Nepal Philatelic Society (since 2080), and Vice President of the Lalitpur Food Trade Association.
As the proprietor of V.G. Trading Center, Mr. Karmacharya has represented Nepal in several international trade delegations, including the Third and Fourth International Trade Fairs in Thimphu, Bhutan; China-South Asia Expos in Kunming and Beijing, China; and currency and stamp exhibitions in Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata (India), and Bangkok, Thailand.
Domestically, he has actively participated in study visits to various district and municipal chambers of commerce across Nepal, including Bhaktapur, Kavre, Dhulikhel, Dhading, Makwanpur, Chitwan, Pokhara, Mustang, Palpa, Butwal, and several others. His international visits include participation in business delegations to Bhutan and Thailand.
In addition to his professional and leadership roles, Mr. Karmacharya has attended numerous training sessions, workshops, and seminars, including those organized by the Philatelic Society (on numismatics), the Red Cross, the Lalitpur Chamber of Commerce, and the Nepal Chamber of Commerce. His extensive travels to India, Bhutan, China, and Thailand have enriched his expertise and strengthened his commitment to social service and business development.
